Thanks a lot, Mr. Frost

Jack has been nipping at a lot more than just our noses around here. I don't think I've ever seen the whole garden go to waste. This is truly heartbreaking, stuff. This is what we have left of the broccoli rows we planted. The older row on the left may still produce a few heads but the younger row on the right never stood a chance...

We're still holding out hope for the cabbage. It didn't all die and maybe the ones that made it will continue growing. If they don't we'll have a ton of tiny baby cabbage heads.

The collards are the only thing in the garden still holding their own. Mr. Frost can nip as much as he wants and these guys just take it and say, 'Is that all you got?'.

The mustards are apparently not as tough as their collard cousin.

We also have some onions that might make it and about 400 or so english pea plants that never stood a chance. This winter is teaching me that we can try as hard as we might to grow something but if nature doesn't allow it, then we just have to take what we get and be thankful for it.
